We are a passionate community of digital safety enthusiasts and cat lovers based in New York City. At CyPurr, we believe that privacy is a right, not a privilege. Our mission is to empower individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to protect their digital privacy and security.
Our Journey
Founded in 2018, the CyPurr Collective has grown from a small group of cybersecurity advocates into a thriving community. We host regular cryptoparties and workshops throughout NYC in collaboration with prominent local institutions such as the New York Public Library, Brooklyn Public Library, and alternative venues like Bluestockings and Babycastles. Over the past few years, we have reached hundreds of participants, teaching them how to safeguard their personal information against digital threats.
What We Do
At CyPurr, our events are more than just lectures; they are interactive, engaging, and filled with practical advice. Whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned tech enthusiast, you will find value in our hands-on approach to learning about digital security.
